Hello, I’m Kelly, founder of Intentional Designz, where wellness, creativity, and faith meet purpose.
Since an early age, I’ve felt called to help others find balance, healing, and peace through intentional living. What began as a personal journey of restoration and spiritual growth evolved into a space where I could share light with others through coaching, mindfulness, and handcrafted wellness products.
Each candle and scent I create is...

Shadow work, to put it simply, is the process of becoming whole by recognizing the aspects of ourselves that we have suppressed, denied, or hidden. These "shadows" are frequently created by life events, past traumas, or social pressures that taught us that particular feelings or characteristics were undesirable. So we shoved them out of the way. But if you ignore something, it doesn't get better; it just gets buried deeper.
Psychologist According to Carl Jung, our "Persona" is the façade we present to the outside world. Examples of this include "I'm kind," "I'm trustworthy," and "I follow the rules." These aspects are authentic, but they fall short of telling our story.
The Shadow, he added, is the part of ourselves that we would rather not be seen, such as fear, anger, jealousy, selfishness, or even vulnerability. We do our best to hide these traits, but they still exist. Instead, they show up in our reactions, relationships, and unexpected emotions.
Integration is the aim of shadow work, not perfection., not self-glorification. Awareness under grace. The moment we let God into our shadows, He redeems us.
“Everyone carries a shadow, but if it is brought into consciousness, it always has a chance to be corrected.” Carl Jung“
